Historic named jumper and flat cap with faded US NAVAL AVIATION tally, also named. Research includes CSC file info showing WW1 service at the USN seaplane station at Paulliac, France and a a news clipping showing this sailors assignment and relation to the NC-4. Small rip at collar of jumper with period repair which is covered by ther neck scarf when it is in place. Group also include unique wool "pogey rope" which were sometimes made by sailors of the period which was received when I got the set.
