The strap lugs are both intact. Condition is as photographed with wear as to be expected from age, use and being in a war....has an overall nice old warm patina. Imperial World War 1 Prussian State Flag
CollectionHero
Large Prussian State flag used on buildings and other government facilities in Prussia. Was used between 1892-1918. Size is &’x5’. There is a rip down the center of the eagle. I can only guess it was cut by a box cutter. But it is not separated and does not distract from the eagle. The swallowtails are worn from wear. Flag is darkened. I don’t know if it was from coal smoke since many times these flags were placed by chimneys. Is it possible this was used as the toppflagge for the SMS Prussian?. I don’t know. See pictures and decide for yourself. In any case it is a Once in a lifetime purchase. I’ve only seen one other and it went for 5k and was half the size. Shipping is US includes insurance and signature required. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

WW1 PRUSSIAN LOT: M95 Pickelhaube 187th Regiment, M1915 Prussian Buckle & Belt
CollectionHero
WW1 Prussian LOT: M95 Pickelhaube "The King's Prussian Infantry Regiment 187" formed early May 2015, & M1915 w/1915 mfg. dated Imperial Prussian Buckle & Belt. This M95, WW1 Pickelhaube Helmet belonged to a Mannschaften (“Other Ranks” i.e.- A private up to a Lower grade sergeant), of The King's Prussian Infantry Regiment 187. Short History: The Stamping on the interior rear of helmet “J.R.” = Infantry Regiment the number- 187 is the Regiment- The 187 Infantry Regiment was formed using companies from several regiments. During the war in May 1915, 187 IR was active at several locations in the Vogesen until the end of August, 1916. At the beginning of September, 1916, when Rumania entered the war, the 187 IR was sent to that new conflict zone. Here, in mountainous terrain, covered in deep snow the 187 IR fought many, bloody conflicts, most of them successfully. Fighting lasted until the 22nd February, 1917. After a recovery period in Lothringian the regiment was shipped to the Rheims area where it saw action at Hill 100 and Hochberg. After a large number of bloody conflicts at these locations, the regiment again was given a recovery period, after which the regiment was forced to withstand the heavy battles in Flanders and Northern France at Arras and Cambrai till the end of the war. This M95, WW1 Pickelhaube Helmet belonged to a Mannschaften (“Other Ranks” i.e.- A private up to a Lower grade sergeant), of The King's Prussian Infantry Regiment 187. M91 Preuben (Prussian) Kokarden (i.e., the Black/White Beveled Disk on right helmet side indicate- Indicate Royal Prussian Imperial Prussian- i.e., The Elite of the Imperial Army) enlisted man or NCO: the left side Kokarden, is an M97 issue (Black White Red Beveled Disk, that indicate the National Flag colors). This is an Actual Rare Regimental Unit Pickelhaube, in overall, very good condition. My understanding is that about 50-years ago the former owner/lifetime collector, had the Helmet Liner professionally replaced-so- while this HAS BEEN REPLACED it nonetheless was a first rate job as you can see for yourselves- it shows beautifully- the other slight drawback is that it is missing its chin-strap. These Pickelhaube were made from Steamed Leather- which is why they shrink so much with age- what look like “scratches” or indentations in the outer leather are naturally occurring contractions in the leather- M1915 Infantry belt: is an Early Prussian M1915 Infantry belt, 1915 mfg. (possibly attributed to Henry Alexander, Hamburg stamping- for a brief period, some of these early belts had two bright brass tabs to the left & right of the buckle (this makes it rare). Two things on this- the brass was needed for war effort so makers stopped using - the few belts making it to combat areas were either darkened or removed by the soldiers. This belt has visible markings and perforation in leather perfectly matching these brass tab placement. It is not a “hate belt” with the unit tabs removed. M1915 Imperial Prussian Buckle & complete leather belt in good condition – The Year IS Clearly seen- 1915The M1915 Buckle: These buckles were made by a variety of manufacturers using A Siemens-Martin Stahlblech (a patent), which was zinc coated and then finished in field grey. Stamp size on belt reads 105. I HAVE NOT TREATED THE LEATHER BELT – MY THOUGHT WAS THAT THE NEXT OWNER CAN DECIDE THAT- BUT- I WOULD USE BLACKROCK LEATHER N’ RICH NEUTRAL LEATHER CLEANER PRESERVATIVE GOOD FOR ALL VALUABLE LEATHER- AND ANTIQUE HOLSTERS-BELTS ETC.- IT IS PHENOMENAL! I USE IT ON MY HOLSTERS AND LEATHER- USED BY PROFESSIONAL MILITARIA DEALER’S- Both Sold Together as a Matching Lot: Helmet & Belt, AS FORMER COLLECTOR HAD INHERITED FROM HIS FATHER- PACKING DATA: THESE ITEMS WILL BE CAREFULLY WRAPPED- IN MULTIPLE TYPE OF WRAP- AND THEN PLASTIC BAG SEALED- SHIPPED IN AN OVERSIZED BOX FOR ADDED PROTECTION; SHIPPING ESTIMATE SIZE: 16X12X12 Fully Packed WEIGHT EST. 4.75# (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Gorgeous, Authentic Pre-WW1 Canadian Militia Scarlet Frock, Amazing & Rare
CollectionHero
This auction features a stunning circa 1910 Canadian Militia red scarlet frock coat. This is an incredibly scarce tunic and is a known pattern of Pre-WW1 Canadian Militia uniform. We have not found any others for sale online before. All components of this frock coat are authentic. The frock did not come with a story, but from what we can tell, it appears to have been repaired: The center-back panel of the uniform is a slightly darker shade, indicating that it was likely taken from another authentic tunic of the exact same style at some point during its life/career. Some old staining can be see
